From Hazel Warden (aged 9) =================reply====================== Dear Hazel Hindu children come across their religion in the following manner:- (1) Hindu children learn about God from a great many lovely Hindu stories (like the stories of Rama and Krishna) from their grandparents (2) They are taught to show respect to their elders and teachers and act gracefully towards all living things. (3) They might watch their parents/grandparents doing daily worship in the house or visit temples to see worship. (4) They are taught not to hurt or harm any living thing. (5) They celebrate festivals where the whole family gets together and have fun. When they are a bit older they would learn about their religion by studying books like the Gita or Upanishads.
