namaste vandana ji,

yes as narasimhaye ji said BRAHMA KAMAL is not a

creeper. you can plant it in a flowerpot also (as i have done). you

just have to put the leaf in soil & it starts growing in 2 weeks

time (depends upon the climate). the leaves can grow upto 1 feet

long.

 

the flower starts emmiting the divine scent when the blooming

process starts (around 8 p.m. in night) & it blooms fully at 11.45

p.m. to 12.00 a.m. At that moment you can smell the divine scent in

20-25 feet radius.

 

my grand mother has told me that one should

always offer the flower on the shivlinga after it blooms at

midnight. but if it's not possible for you to go to mandir in night

then you can offer it to any god on the altar. but the shivlinga

looks very beautiful when i put brahma kamal on it.

happy to offer you the divine plant leaf.
