Namaskar Ramesh,

 

Setting gems in a manner that they touch your skin is excellent for

effects. White Zircon should be worn on the ring finger. Its

correct that white zircon should preferably be set in silver, white

gold or platinum. This is according to Jyotish. However if you feel

strongly about having it set in gold, its fine to do so (according to

Western astrology). This means which astrological system you wish to

follow. Its essential to sit and meditate, and let the upaguru guide

you. Then you will have stronger feelings on what material to use

for setting your White Zircon. Most traditional people follow the

Jyotish system. Yes, peridot be worn on the little finger.
