Guest guest Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Sir, I have a couple of rings which are set in gold and silver and studded with a emerald and a pearl respectively. However both the rings are a bit loose though the stones touch my skin. I guess the ring would be about 1/4 size loose. I am not sure if anyone in this group has an idea as to the ways yo tighten these. I have visited some big jewellery shops but they refuse to do it. Is there any other way other to get this tightened. I hate the idea of using a thread as the thread on a ring would look too bad and spoil the entire look of the gemstone.
