Guest guest
Vastu- How far we can go? Part 2 Burning incense (dhoop) in all rooms. New age people and Native American Indians use sage. The belief is it will remove all negative energies and spirits. It is done periodically. Muslims also do it. Establishing a Puja Room. Preferably done Ishyana direction. At least keeping a picture and an even a small alter in the beginning..,with prayers. Of their favorite form of God. Periodic cleaning of the home. .. Getting rid of all junk and unused items. This is gaining popularity. Any article that is not used in the last 3 years is no longer needed. Give away all used clothing, kitchen stuff, magazines etc.We have a tendency to accumulate. Periodic maintenance. Painting, cleaning, polishing wood, marble, granite. It may be some thing like reenergizing vastu purusha or taking an Abhyangana snana. Temples do it for 12 years by performing Kumbhabhi sheka Some of these also remove the memory, the negative energy imprints of past residents in that house. They also help in re energizing the home. Opening all the windows and the sun light shine in all the rooms is also a common practice. Using oil lamps and candles. This is also a practice with Christians and Wicca's. The belief is- it purifies and removes negative energies. Indians use Sesame, oil, castor oil and ghee lamps. There are supposed be some differences. Between them., do not know them. Using sound. Sacred chants, devotional music, mantras. It is becoming very popular as sound is a vibration and some studies in late 80s proved it. Christians use Lord's Prayer, Gregorian chants.R.R. Com got a good collection CDs. I feel sound definitely is a cheaper, easy to use beneficficial vibration. Using Vastu Yantras. No experience with them as they were not available in the pre internet age. Have no experience with vastu yantras like, kurma and matysa yantras. Using religious symbols in the front of house. Also popular with Jewish community. They use Star of David (six angles).Christians write Jesus and " God bless this Home " . Hindus use in half cut Elephants with tusks up in a pair on the front door. Some use swastika or a trishul or a sudarshana chakra as a small metal stick-on or write them with CLEAR Nail polish .Clear nail polish is used as to not become obvious( We live in a country with a different religion.) RR.com got some products but we have not used them. Many of my dowsing friends like Sindhoram especially the kamakhya and sri Hanuman sindhoram. They smear a little with oil on the metal (window and plumbing pipes) in all the cardinal directions Perhaps others can share their experiences and recommendations. Part 3 with dowsing will follow later. Regards
