Guest guest
Namaste Siddharth, For cleaning, place rudraksha beads in a container with warm gentle soapy water. Brush the beads with a toothbrush. After that rinse with clear water until soap traces are gone. Next rinse with some rose-water if you wish. Let the beads dry completely. Make sure they are totally dry outside and inside before oiling. Sandalwood essential oil mixed with cold-pressed almond oil or olive oil can be used. Other oils are also used for oiling rudrakshas and its a matter of preference although I recommend sandalwood because it is conducive to meditation, healing, spirituality and helps us to keep calm. After oiling its fine to energize the beads again using the method that is mentioned here: /articledt.php?art_id=98 The above link is for Rudra Centre's Energization Page. Please read and print the information so you can follow the process. No the beads will not be spoiled because of heat and humidity. Even though they have changed color, they are still ok. You will find that after oiling the beads as time goes, they will become darker in color again. It was extremely humid and hot and hence sweat a lot. I wear my mala almost throughout the day. Due to the sweat etc the beads have turned white in colour. & nbsp; Will the beads get spoilt because of this? Will pores be formed because of this? > & nbsp; > Thanking You > Siddharth >
