Guest guest
Namaskar Respected Sunita, Japa Mala is usually for japa only. Its best not to wear it but store in a pouch on the altar when not using. Japa mala is used for counting mantras. If its not worn, it preserves the thread or stringing material. Its preferable to wear a Personal Mala that consists of beads for a specific purpose or even based on birth details. However if you have the strong urge to wear your Japa Mala, by all means follow your instinct.
