Guest guest
Namaskar Aksha.rudra, When reciting Ganesha's Beeja mantra aloud, it should sound like "GuNg". The sound of GuNg occurs when the tongue does not touch the roof or base of the mouth. Its pronounciation is like the English word "gong" except in the case of the Beeja mantra, the "o" is replaced with "u". This "u" should sound like an "a" as in "ah hah". When practising silent meditation, the sound of "Gam" is technically correct. Anyway, please listen carefully to this chant from YouTube which has the correct sound of "GuNg". Its called Ganapati Bappa Morya: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79qWATj-bz4 & feature=related Jai Ganesha , aksha.rudra <no_reply wrote:>> First of all Happy Ganesha to everyone here.> What is the right mantra for Lord Ganesha?I am confused.> Om GaN Ganapataye Namah> > or> > Om GaM Ganapataye Namah> > Thanks and shall wait for your comments dear memebrs.>
