And yes you can perform 108 times each day for 90 days. If 2 hours before sunrise is not possible for you, its still fine to recite mantras around 8am and 10am. If there is karmic propensity between a person and the mantra he is chanting, it does not take long for him to achieve mantra siddhi (or 'mastering the power of a certain mantra'). It can take 1,25,000 seconds, minutes, etc in 4 hours. 4 days or 40 days. (just example). It can also be due to poonarva samskara how long a person can attain the goal of a particular spiritual path. Yoga, reiki, martial arts and spiritualy healing are all forms of Siddhis. Siddhis are only gained through God's Grace and thus never be used for personal gains or revenge. Its important to realize they are for the benefit of others and in martial arts, for safety of the public. Anyone can possess any type of siddhi while proceeding on the path of spirituality. There are various sorts of siddhis; listen to the small inner voice (of the Atman, the soul within) which always prompts us on the right path and you shall never be devoid of any siddhi.
