Guest guest
Namaste J.K., Agree there are 2 different schools of thought. Came across an article by Howard Beckman (Hamsavatar Das) about this topic which I shall post in the message. Its quite like a 'catch 22' when it comes to prescribing gems (which I stay away from). As far as I'm concerned, Rudraksha is the best Mani (jewel) as they do not have side effects (Scriptures do not mention side effects). In the case of gems, shastras mention side effects. Rudrakshas, with its Divine subtle energies as Tears of Lord Shiva, strengthens energies of weak but benefic planets, removes or weakens strong energies of malefic planets and balances the others.
