Re-Sanctifying Rudraksha mala....???

No question is ever silly. What one person knows, another doesn't. So

we all share with one another here. Gifting rudraksha is good dharma -

holy scriptures such as the Shiva Purana mentions that giving rudraksha

without condition is meritous. Since in your case its unappreciated by

the recipient and returned to you, its the recipient's loss, not yours.

 

As you already know the method for cleansing beads and minerals and

want to make sure all traces of the other person's negative energies

are discharged, use the same method for cleansing beads, i.e. washing,

drying, oiling, puja.....and then smudging it with a small bundle of

cedar (Indian smudging sticks) while visualizing that the person's

negative energies are eradicated from the mala. Smudging sticks are

very powerful for removing negative energy. Puja is great for re-

energizing.
