You are welcome. The gem should not be less than 3 rattikas. Generally 5, 7, 8 10, 12 or 14 rattikas are considered auspicious. Pukhraj (yellow sapphire) having 6, 11 or 15 rattikas are inauspicious. The ring should be worn on the first finger which is Jupiter finger. Otherwise it can be worn on the ring finger on the right hand. Its best to begin wearing yellow sapphire on Thursday as Jupiter rules Thursday.
