The yantra is used for worship on its own or together with the mala on the altar with offerings. It is believed that blessings from Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Durga, Ganesha, Surya and other deities always stay with the wearer of the mala and worshipper of the yantra. Its also believed that the devotee gets fulfillment of his desires. The yantra bestows protection from any kind of harm, loss, danger, evils and negative forces.
