Guest guest
Namaste Rajest_rta, Wonderful that you've discovered the holy beads of rudraksha and is seeking to obtain them soon. If your budget allows, its a good idea to get the other extra beads on top of what you have been recommended by Rudra Centre. This is so you can have them strung together now instead of having to send the mala with minimal beads back to them for adding more beads later. Silver and gold-polished caps are as good as each other and the durability is about the same. How fast either one of them last on our bodies when we are wearing them, depends on the climate where we live and also our body chemicals and sweat. These determine the length of time of metal caps retaining their color. Its all a matter of personal preference. Meditate and see which one will suit you well. If you have worn metal jewelry before, try and remember how long they had last on you body and this will perhaps give the answer. However, I am not sure whether to buy silver or gold polished punchdhatu chain / cap. Can someone help me understand which one is better from the durability and maitenance standpoint? Thanks, Rajesh
