Guest guest
Namaste Bietmeh, Each individual before they came into contact with rudraksha is a different person. Whatever changes rudraksha bestow upon them has got to be for their own good as rudraksha are the Tears of Lord Shiva for saving mankind. Say we are suffering something and it seems terrible but without rudraksha, the suffering could be 10 or 1 million times worse. There is a saying that when the student is ready (even without knowing it), the guru will appear. And in your case, your father perhaps introduced you to rudrakshas because he feels they will be good for you. And in the subtle dimension, the guru (Shiva) is ready to take you on at that certain point in your life to make you learn a few things. You would be presented with temptations such as alcohol, greed, etc -- all these are lessons for your learning. If you can resist temptations and go back to being a 'simple man', you would have traversed spiritually. Its all for your own good. One day when my father introduced me to rudrakshas and I have been wearing these (1-6,11,12,13,15) for last two years. I Have seen major changes in me. I tend to follow my duties, I'm blunt, and some how attracted to all the desires in the world including alcohol, sex, money and power. My questions is, is this a gift? >
Guest guest
thanks narasimhaye for your thoughts, but few more concerns: I agree that guru comes to you when the time is right without having the prior knowledge to the student. As for me living a simple life prior wearing rudrakshas and not been attracted towards any sort of desires and besides being the age of 22, I have come across contemplative reading towards bhagvat gita among few other philosophical guide lines on how to live your life righteously. And having a complete comprehensive and logical understand why the things are wrong and why should be avoided and why should one follow the basic concept of morality. Why would I be tested again to transverse myself to spirituality? I am spiritual, I intend to follow my duties and the concept of morality. I am able to see through people that lack the knowledge of the simple golden rule (golden rule states: treat others as you treat yourself), then why would I be tested? or rather there is no test, but a treat? Thanks for reading... open to any of your thoughts.
