Guest guest Posted March 19, 2009 Report Share Posted March 19, 2009 Namaste Anil Patial, a) As sizes of Nepal and Java beads differ so largely, its preferable to use just one type of beads for Siddh Mala otherwise the mala would look off balance. b) Yes, you can wear available rudrakshas, and at the same time keep adding new beads to your mala slowly as and when you can afford. c) Once you have all the beads from 1-14 Mukhi, Gauri Shankar, Ganesh, the Mala will be Siddha Mala then. d) The new bead will take a bit of time to start effecting. Also I have read both java and nepal beads have the same electromagnetic property.Why do we have such a vast difference in price for both of them?? How does nepal bead differ from java one? Do they belong to same family (botinacilly). I do realise thats a lot of question and i may sound like a newbee . One is strung with Nepal beads which makes it expensive: /dispProductlist.php?subcatId=204 The other type is strung with Java rudraksha. It is affordable for many people and is called Akarshaya Siddh Mala: /dispProductlist.php?subcatId=205 b) Yes you can buy them for your parents. Would suggest that you get the Akarshaya Siddh Mala if you do not have high budget. It will give punya by giving rudraksha as gifts to parents, relatives and friends - this is mentioned in holy books. c) Vast difference in price for Nepal and Java rudraksha is because of size and also Nepal type is more rare. They are both classified as rudraksha and have same features. Difference is the beads grown in Nepal are of high altitude where its cold. Java beads are grown in hot, warm and humid climate.
