Dear Alicia,

So sorry to hear you have heart disease due to clogging of arteries and 2 heart attacks at such a young age. Its great you decided to change your lifestyle, practice Ayurveda.

Since 5 mukhis are the most suitable for cardiac and heart problems, you are doing well to have the synergistic combinations you are wearing. Its correct to have a 5 mukhi Japa Mala separately for reciting mantras, then placed on the family altar. Other rudrakshas that can assist with your heart condition re:

Surya Pendnt: /dispProduct.php?prodId=127

Rog Nivaran mala : /dispProduct.php?prodId=125

Alternatively please contact Ms Neeta Ji or Rudra Centre for further guidance on design, material to use, etc :

Malas should preferably be worn as long as possible each day, placing them at the altar before sleep time or bath time. You have also done well by wearing constantly except for cleaning and oiling.

Take good care Alicia.

Om Namah Shivaya

I have changed my lifestyle, and I practice Ayurveda. I am a Pitta-Kapha. I presently wear a 5 mukti constantly as a necklace, 5 mukti stud earrings, and a rosewood and 5 mukti bracelet on my left wrist, which contains 8 rudrakshas. I have a 5 mukti mala that I use daily for my mantras, and it is then placed on our family altar. I love rudrakshas not only for their beauty, but to remind me of Lord Shiva. I would love to be able to have more suitable rudrakshas to help my heart disease. What would you suggest, and how should I wear them, and for how long? The ones I have now are worn constantly, except for cleaning and oiling. Thank you so much.> > Alicia>
