Guest guest
Dear Members, I have infact checked about this mantra with a different naadi astrologer too. He too confirms that there is a mantra called as 'Panchatchara Sthula vasiya Maha Mantra'. I strongly doubt that this mantra may be from a tamil work and not from sanskrit. Because of the reason the naadi astrology is from south India and also the reason that all the gurus who wrote naadi leaves are from Tamil Nadu and all are strict Shaivaites, I strongly doubt this mantra may be from the tamil works written by the 63 Saiva Nayanmars of todays Tamil Nadu. Any person who is literate in ancient tamil scriptures can only help me. I am sure no brahmin prohit or pundit knows anything about this mantra as I have asked to so many people. It should be from a tamil work, possibly by the works of the fisrt three Nayanmars namely Appar, Sundarar and Manickavasagar. I am currently doing a research in the 'Thirumurai' and 'Periya Puranam' which are written by the 63 Nayanars in Tamil, to find out what the mantra is. Kindly help. If you write the atchara - 'hrIm' in English, there are 4-5 letters. If you write it in Tamil, there are 3 letters. In mantra sastra 'hrIm' is one atchara. An atchara is measured in 'mAthra' or 'mAththirai' s in tamil. > > So, basically 'Panchatchara Maha Mantra' is the five letter praise of Lord Shiva, 'Om Namah Shivaya' . > > Meaning for 'Sthula' is 'Sharira' or the 'dense body'. > > Meanig for 'Vasiya'is ofcourse 'attraction' . > > So, what is 'Panchatchara Sthula Vasiya Maha Mantra'? > > It is definately a Vedic Mantra. > > I once saw the Nadi(Palm-leaf) astrology for me and in it, in the theetchai remedial Kandam, I was asked to wear this tailsman in a 'Ratcha' type. > > But the Nadi reader refused to give me what the mantra is and asked me to go with him to produce this yantra for which he tried to charge me a good lump sum of money knowing that I am an NRI from the palm leaves. > > Can any one help please? I am searching for this mantra for the past 4 to 6 months but unable to find it. > > Regards, > Siva >
