Guest guest
Namaste Baj, Devotees who are allergic to metals find it better to use thread. Indeed as you've mentioned, the potential of two or more malas joined at some point or other, are increased as backed by research at Rudra Centre. As mentioned in the holy text 'Srimad Devi Bhagavatam' beads can be strung head to head, and tail to tail to enhance benefits. Research in the past at Rudra Centre resulted in the knowledge that thre is no right nor wrong way for stringing rudraksha beads. Whether you have the order at 7-8-9-11 mukhis now and reverse it to 11-9-8-7 mukhis, is fine. However there is a tendency that if the lower mukhi beads are smaller in size that the high mukhis, its best to string the lower mukhis at the top (leading up to the neck) and let the high mukhis stay on the chest area. This will give the mala a nice balance. Suppose you have a mala with following mukhi configuration: 7-8-9-11 now if you take it off and put it back after a while such that the order of beads is reversed 11-9-8-7 does it makes a difference? Should it be avoided? > > Thanks, > Baj >
