Namaste Iyern,

Whether a person wishes to wear his/her rudraksha mala or bead in a bath

or shower is up to the person himself/herself. If the temperature and

humidity of the place where the person lives is high and there's a lot

of sweating, then wearing and gently washing the mala in a shower can be

done. If there in no time to let the mala dry before you go to work or

go out, then its advisable to place the mala on the altar during

shower/bath time.

In colder countries, regular washing of the malas every month or 3

months is ok.

shower and put it back after shower ?
