Hi Char,

Warm welcome to you and thanks for introducing yourself. Nice to hear you are

interested in rudraksha after discovering the breath of energy the beads

possess. Rudraksha is not only a botanical plant but a science of its own

merit. The history of rudraksha possibly goes back 5000 years or more as it was

noted in old writings or holy writings later when mankind discovered alphabets

and learnt to write.

The beads' use have also been noted in Ayurvedic texts where its advisable to

put 3 beads of rudraksha in a glass at night and the liquid drunk in the

morning. Its also known to help with high blood pressure, cholesterol and

diabetes by those who are able to assimilate with the remedial content of the

beads.

Would like to recommend that you read the book titled " Power of Rudraksha " by K.

N. Seetha, one of the world's most noted rudraksha expert. :

Rudra Centre's website contains lots of information about rudraksha. Please

visit it and click on rudraksha beads in the home page.

Best wishes.

I'm a middle aged lady with poor health, but I still work hard as a pharmacist

by profession.

grocery in Berkeley. I hung it up with my other jewelry and did not think much

more about it for a month or two until I decided to wear it one day and was

absentmindedly handling the beads when I felt a distinct circulation and

" breath " of energy going through and around my hand holding the beads.

imagine, I would like to know more about just what these beads really are, why

or how they work, and am interested in all opinions.
