Guest guest
Namaste Sumit, Soaking rudraksha in water or milk cannot test whether they are genuine or not. Its quite rare for fake suppliers to make beads of 13 mukhis. They only make from 14 mukhis upwards due to the high market prices. The cost of 13 mukhi is low to middle-range. Don't worry about your bead, high chances are its genuine. Old beads when washed in water would sink because of previous treatment with water, oils, sweat and other chemicals whether they are from the skin or not. New, fresh beads would float but this depends on the individual bead itself. Rest assured that all rudraksha obtained from Rudra Centre are genuine and of high quality: /dispCategory.php?rudraksha-beads & catId=5 They also provide a free test if you wish to find out whether your bead is genuine. All you need to do is send them your bead and return postage back to your home. After wearing it for few days I decided to test it's genuiness so I put the rudraksha in water and instead of sinking it started to float so now I am thinking that this bead is not of ultimate quality as it was claimed by the website. So now I have generated this idea in mind that it might require authencity test.> I need expert advice on this. I always had this desire of wearing 13 mukhi rudraksha but at present need to get test for said bead otherwise my belief and desire would be dwindled.>
