We gathered in the Hill view stadium with lot of apprehensions. Me being a diabetic patient, was worried about an empty stomach for very long. There could be more like me in that vast crowd. We thought we could not leave our sitting space and come back again after having our light refreshments. Then the fear of hot son was another worrying factor. Suppose we felt thirsty, where to go for water. But believe me, Swami had made all arrangements for his Loving devotees, who had started gathering in the stadium well early in the morning. As the day light was breaking the huge number of sevadals, started unloading big bags, and started opening them. And what did you find inside those bags? White sun caps!, And plenty of them. The sevadals starting distributing them among the devotees. There could be around one hundred thousand devotees, both gents and ladies. Soon every one was wearing these caps on their heads. A thoughtful and noble act of grace from SAI. In no time we could find only white heads all over the stadium, including ladies. When the programme finished and Arathi was offered to Bhagavan, the huge crowd surged in huge numbers on the main road. All white dressed devotees, with white caps! It looked as if a huge number of cricket players and taken over the streets of Puttaparthi. White and white all the way! There were lots of sevadals. Hundred of them swarmed the stadium, carrying big water containers on their back, which were fitted with a small length of plastic pipes and a tap too!. They reached out regularly to every devotee, every 5 minutes and offered cool water. This was a big help. We could even place our mat in our place and go for a break seeking refreshments! Three huge TV screens had been installed. One on gents side, another over thills behind ladies side, and another slightly smaller one in the gallery reserved for gents VIP. Every movement of Sai was displayed over these big sevens. For those who could not make it to the Hill view stadium, a huge TV screen had been installed near the Ganesh Gate in the Ashram. We hope to enjoy the Yagnas, to the content of our hearts in spite of the huge crowds. Scores of Seer/Peetathipathis (heads of various Hindu Mutts are listed to be present in Prashanthi NIayam and receive the blessing of our Divine Master. Prominent among them are (1) Sri Ganesh Sachithanand Swami of Mysore , and Jagadh Guru Sri Kanchi Sankaracharya, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. No wonder!
