Materialisation

Chidambar Keshav Gadgil, when transferred

and ordered to join his new station, sat in the Railway carriage and regretted

he could not go to Baba before joining. Suddenly a packet of Udhi fell into his lap. On his return to Shirdi:

Baba (to C,K. Gadgil): You could not come.

So I sent Udhi. Did you get it?

Baba (to Kusha Bhav, think of me and at

once I am near you. (Whenever Kusha Bhav, thinks of Baba, Baba's Udhi

pours out from Kusha's folded palms.).

Das Ganu wanting to go to Godavari (called Ganges by the people) said to Baba: " Baba, this is Mahasivarathri. I want to have Gangasnan

at Singaba, three miles from Shirdi

Baba : Why should you go there?

Das Ganu. was at once dejected.

Baba: Ganga is here at my feet. Do not go.

Das Ganu was again

cheerless because though he had written Baba

was God Vishnu his faith in that statement was very very

weak.

Baba : Come here, hold your palm near my feet.

Das Ganu. did

so. Lo and behold! A thin stream of water poured out from Baba's feet on to the

palm and D.G. had a palmful of water. Here was Ganga and Das Ganu. sprinkled it over his head.
