He should know the route and the number of kms to walk from his city2. He has to plan the night halts at dhabas or villages and should try to reach the halt point atleast before 8.00 pm3.He should try to avoid walking in the night 4.He should try to cover the maximum kms in a day5.Before he starts he should practise walking for couple of months to get used to walking6.He should not carry any luggage except for a back pack containing kurta,payjama,anti boitics,pain killers,Electrol sachets,baba's udhi,tooth paste,tooth brush,torch,extra batteries,Baba's satcharitra and aarti book.7.on the way he should eat lots of chocolate coz its a great source of energy and in between he can have gulab jamoon syrup or sugare cane juice ( which is available in most of the sweet shops in villages or dhabas ) which cools the body and prevents constipation8.He should try to avoid long breaks as this would make him lethargic to continue walkingLot of determination and faith on Baba is required to continue walking because most of the devotees loose confidence (on account of body pain and fatigue) after walking a few kms.9.He should carry an walkman or Ipod and listen to baba's bhajans and songs while walking venkat--- On Sun, 27/9/09, dhayanamandir <srisaidham wrote:dhayanamandir <srisaidham Please advise on Padayatra to Shiridi Date: Sunday, 27 September, 2009, 6:51 AM Sai Ram Greetings to you all A devotee wants to go to Shiridi on foot.
