Guest guest
There is no greater and more sacred path to the Divine than service People say that service to Man is service to God, and that is a true statement. But, though service of humanity is holy, unless it is merged in the bigger ideal, people will not benefit, however huge the service. If service is done without faith in the divinity of Man, and with an eye on one’s own name and fame and the fruits of one’s actions, then it will not be service to God. Without any thought of the Divine, how can the service be to God? Instead, whatever is done with the Lord in mind, along the path of Truth and according to the dictates of Dharma (righteousness), must be considered to be service to the Lord, while whatever is done for name and fame and for the fruit thereof, will not.
