It is number one in the country for workload and successful outcomes as far as Interventional Cardiology is concerned. We are starting Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology program this January 2008 to provide training and hands on experience to aspiring Cardiologists. The program will be headed by Prof. P.K. Dash, a very well know Interventional Cardiologist in India. Prof. P.K. Dash has more than 15,000 interventional procedures to his credit. The Cardiology Department has to its credit close to 12,000 interventional Cardiology procedures in a short span of 7 years. The program also boasts of a large number of renowned Interventional Cardiologists from United States of America who visit us on a regular basis and also impart lectures through video conferencing. The minimum requirement for this program is DM / DNB in Cardiology. The program is run under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is for duration of 2 years.
