Magha Masam, the 11th month of Indian calendar starts on Friday, February 8th and finishes on Friday, March 7th.

 

Magha Masam is one of the sacred months for Hindus and is a favourite month for both Lord Keshava and Shiva. By doing Dhana, Abhisheka and Homam in this month fetches everyone all the hapiness .

 

There are some important dates in this month to celebrate The following are the important celebration days:

 

Monday, February 11th Vasantha Panchami or Madana Panchami

 

Wednesday February 13th Ratha Saptami

 

Sunday February 17th Bhisma Ekadasi

 

Wednesday February 19th Sri RamaKrishna Jayanti

 

Thursday February 21st Magha Purnima Snanam (bath)

 

Thursday March 6th Maha Sivaratri-Parvati & Shiva Kalyanam
