July 19thNews Guru Poornima evening celebrations in Puttaparthi

 

 

 

Wonderful Carnatic music program in mandir this evening. Swami arrived around 5:15 pm this evening to Sai Kulwant hall. Soon after that Carnatic music program began. Two singers performed some wonderful keertans.

After few keertans Swami called both the singers and presented them with clothes. Then they went back and sang some more beautiful songs about Swami. The first went like this “Sai nama smarana”, it was a beautiful song.

After that they sang another keertan that was written by a poet on the day of Swami’s birth, which was also very beautiful.

They ended their program offering pranams to Swami with some beautiful lyrics.

Soon after that Aarthi began and Swami left for Yajur mandir in mobile chair giving all the devotees on the ladies side a nice darshan.

It was 7:00 pm by the time the programs ended.
