Sri Baalaswamiji was doing an elaborate MARAKATA GURU PADUKA ARCHANA in the

Universal Prayerhall in front of a beautiful decorated, very pleasing and lively

Photo of Sri Swamiji. One could really experience His very presence there!! The

Puja was accompanied by the pious chantings of the Ashram Vedaboys.

 

In Sri Baalaswamiji's speech he was exploing the MARAKATA (Emerald) GURU PADUKAS

and their meaning. They have the power to remove our inflictions, physical and

mental. They also increase brainpower. Further He stated: " Guru Padukaworship is

always worshipping LORD SHIVA! Praying to the formless power of Almighty Lord

Ishwara.

 

About the precious Marakata stone Sri Swamiji once statet: " MARAKATA is the KING

OF PRECIOUS STONES! " It is also called THE MOST PURE!(purer then Diamond, Rubis

and other precios stones). He also said on yet another occasion: " There is only

ONE Marakata murti " ! He was talking about DATTA (He Himself), the one who gives

Himself away for the good of the world! It is also the stone for MERCURY, the

beloved planet of Sri Swamiji; as ADIMERCURY the greatest connector between man

and God!
