Guest guest
Namaste Ketan & Shital, thanks for kind words, glad you enjoy the answers given in this Group. Its not necessary to purchase Sheshnaag for accompanying Parad Shivalingam. Parad Shivalingam already has a Yoni Base which is also 'Shakti'. But if you feel strongly to have a Naga for accompanying the Parad Shivalingam, you can purchase one. Naga for Lord Shiva can be indicated as the 'Self-Ego' of Life Force which underlies all Beings in the Cosmos. Sheeshnaag is connected with Lord Vishnu. Its the thousand-headed serpent which forms the bed of Vishnu on the ocean of Milk. Generally Sheeshnaag also incarnates with Vishnu or separately when the need arises. He was the Laksmana of Ramayana. He was the Balarama elder brother of Krishna and he was also the sage Pathanjali who composed the Yoga Sutras.
