OM SAI RAM TO MY SAI FAMILY!

 

 

I just wanted to share this with all. Both of my children were invited

to attend the World Youth Conference in Prashanti in July 2007. My

husband and I were also going to join the children. I was hesitant

about attending because of circumstances, we had at the time, and we had

to cancel. I wrote a letter to Swami and got my answer in the " Daily

Thought " , which I happen to read through the Srisatyasaidevotees group

daily. This is what I read in my daily thought. " Things can go wrong,

have patience " .

 

And it was so, things went so wrong in terms of the teachers strike and

my daughter being in her last year at school, i.e her matric year, had

missed almost a month of her lectures. Fortunately this was covered up

again after the strikes were over, but she had to attend school on

Saturdays for almost 8 weeks to cover up all the lecture time lost. My

husband being a Head of Department, also in a school here in South

Africa, was also placed in the same circumstance.

 

I wrote a letter to Swami, apologising to him about us not coming for

the Conference, and sent our love to him, via an email and also

mentioned that he must send me some vibuthi from the Conference with

anyone that had attended. I also said to Swami, that I will be waiting

for your vibuthi.

 

Today the 11th October, is my birthday, and I have received the vibuthi

through a student from the university where I work, of whom I don’t

even know at all, but by chance has come to me and handed me a packet of

the vibuthi given by Swami, to him at the Conference. He also showed me

the robe that he had in his bag which he had got at the Conference. For

me this is more than enough a gift from Swami. Thank you Swami. You

always shower your love to all of us in your own way.
