Wishing you a wonderful New Year and Praying to Swami that His Blessings and Love always be Showered on you and your family always. Once Swami was asked in Venkatagiri as to what Lessons can one learn from The Mahabarata and the Ramayana as Swami used to talk about them very frequently, Swami answered in the Form of a small but wonderful Discourse : " The greatest Lessons from the Ramayana and Mahabarata that everyone should learn are Sacrifice and Selflessness. Have you ever hear about anyone giving anything to Rama or Krishna, Rama and Krishna always gave and gave. SWAMI ONLY GIVES AND GIVES, SWAMI'S HAND IS ALWAYS ABOVE YOUR HAND AND NEVER BELOW, NEVER. Rama and Krishna could have had everything in the world, But they wanted nothing. When Sudama approached Krishna for help, Krishna decided to end his Suffering, Krishna gave him everything. When Rama had killed Vali and Sugreeva came to him, Sugreeva asked Rama as to what he wanted, Rama smiled and put his hand over Sugreeva's Hand and said " What I have is yours " . One can see various times that Rama and Krishna were selfless in everything they did, that is the great Quality of Divinity, Divinity always Gives and Gives, He takes only Love and Love. YOU OFFER SWAMI EVERYTHING, BUT SWAMI RETURNS IT BACK TO YOU MANY MANY TIMES MORE, THAT IS SWAMI'S LOVE. UNDERSTAND IT. What wonderful Words.
