How Baba answered a mental chatter…………. My Experiences with Sri Sathya Sai Baba – 13 (By GSV Ramu) Sometime in 2002, the sales team of my housing finance company wanted to put a stall inside the Cyber Towers & Cyber Gateway in Hitec city (where a lot of software companies are located) in Hyderabad. Necessary approvals to put up the stall, after paying the official fees, are given by the Estate Officer of L & T infocity which has the administrative control of the building. Our people have paid the fees a week in advance and taken approval for a four days event. On the said day, on

the way to the venue, in the car, I was engaged in a mental chatter within myself, as to how I should go about the marketing activity as there are a lot of companies and thousands of employees and what is to be done to attract crowds to the stall. I told myself that “If only I knew someone in L & T infocity office, things would become easy for me to approach the HR teams of the various companies for doing promotion activity. I told Baba within myself “Why would You help me to connect people in L & T infocity? You would rather only talk to and give interviews to top guys like President or Vice Presidents who come from companies like L & T (Larson

& Toubro did turnkey projects to Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust – like the hospital and water projects and my thoughts were in this context). Baba, I continued my chat, : “I am a small fry in your scheme of things and you don’t bother to help me”. With these thoughts I entered the Cyber Towers. At the allotted place our Sales Team was erecting the stall material and I stood by wondering how to start the activity – rather do something to make the

employees of the different companies there walk in to our stall for home loans. In the next few minutes, out of the blue, one gentleman comes to me and introduces himself as the Estate Officer of L & T infocity, shakes hands with me and we exchanged our visiting cards. I was meeting him for the first time. He told me: “Look Mr Ramu, this is a huge building and there are thousands of employees. I will help you to go about. He took his mobile and called key personnel in companies like Oracle, Microsoft etc and was telling them: Mr Ramu and me are very good friends. L & T and Sundaram Group enjoy good relationship. He will now come with his Sales

Manager to your office. Do give all assistance to promote their mortgage product to the staff in your office”. He called up about 15 companies and he allotted me a senior security officer, gave me identity card valid for 4days, with which I could walk anywhere in the buildings. He advised me to come to his room sometime after meeting the said company offcials in their offices. I got a very good response. Throughout a question was nagging in my mind: Who is this Estate Officer? Why is he going all out to help me that too unasked for? What does he expect from me”!! After a couple of hours, the security officer took me to the cabin of the Estate Officer. The moment I entered the room I saw the photo of Sri Sathya Sai Baba behind him and that unfolded the mystery for me. All that mental nagging I did to Baba on the L & T contacts, in the car, on the way from home to Cyber Towers, Baba answered by mysteriously connecting me to the key person in L & T infocity who went out of the way to help me, that too, UNASKED . Someone thinks this is

also a coincidence??!!
