Ustad Rafiq Khan was privileged to perform sitar solo before Bhagavan Baba many times and be gifted with a precious diamond ring. He had visited many countries and conducted Sitar concerts keeping the elite audiences spell bound. Sri Sathya Sai Sapthathi verses had been published by Sathya Sai Books & Publication Trust (Puttaparthi) in 1980 intended for daily recital by devotees. Sri. K. Baburaj, a young Sai Devotee and music director has scored music for these sacred seventy verses using Carnatic and Hindustani Ragas in Ragamalika (garland of ragas) form. It is a matter of great recognition for Sri. Baburaj that his ‘Sapthathi’ audio album has been broadcasted by ‘Sathya Sai Global Radio’ (World Space Radio) many times.
