Krishna Janmashtami celebrations in Puttaparthi

 

 

 

 

 

Today is Krishna Janmashtami and as part of this days celebrations, Swami¢s elephant and other animals were brought into mandir for Swami¢s blessings. Swami¢s elephant Sathya Gheeta was beautifully decorated and waiting for Swami. Swami came to Sai Kulwant hall in a bright yellow dress which was a special blessing for all the devotees who were present in Sai Kulwant hall this morning. Students sang some beautiful songs for this event. After the event prasadam was distributed to all the devotees. It was past 11:00 am by the time the events ended. Yesterday evening there was a beautiful program by the devotees from Karnataka. They performed a beautiful program in costumes that resembled Kathakali costumes and performed Ramayana, but with Karnataka¢s distinct flavor. It was very nice to see.After the program prasadam was distributed to all the devotees in Sai Kulwant

hall.
