Dear Friends

 

There was this man who saw a scorpion floundering around in the

water. He decided to save it by stretching out his finger, but the

scorpion stung him. The man still tried to get the scorpion out of

the water, but the scorpion stung him again. Another man nearby told

him to stop saving the scorpion that kept stinging him. But the

former said: " It is the nature of the scorpion to sting. It is my

nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because

it is the nature of the scorpion to sting? "

 

Don't give up loving.

Don't give up your goodness.

Even if people around you sting.

 

Today I wish to share with you a special thought ....

 

A PLACE FOR ME

 

There is a special place in life, that needs my humble skill,

A certain job I'm meant to do, which no one else can fulfill.

The time will be demanding, and the pay is not too good

And yet I wouldn't change it for a moment-even if I could

There is a special place in life, a goal I must attain,

A dream that I must follow, because I won't be back again.

There is a mark that I must leave, however small it seems to be,

A legacy of love for those who follow after me

There is a special place in life, that only I may share,

A little path that bears my name, awaiting me somewhere.

There is a hand that I must hold, a word that I must say,

A smile that I must give for there are tears to blow away.

There is a special place in life that I was meant to fill.

A sunny spot where flowers grow, upon a windy hill.

There's always a tomorrow and the best is yet to be,

And somewhere in this world, I know there is a place for me.

 

" I am not afraid of storms,

for I am learning how to sail my ship. "

 

" Sometimes we must get hurt in order to grow;

we must fail in order to know.

Sometimes our vision clears only after our

eyes are washed away with tears. "

 

Think, Believe, Dream, And Dare

 

An eight-year-old boy approached an old man in front of a wishing

well, looked up into his eyes, and asked: " I understand you're a very

wise man. I'd like to know the secret of life. "

 

The old man looked down at the youngster and replied: " I've thought a

lot in my lifetime, and the secret can be summed up in four words

The first is think. Think about the values you wish to live your

life by.

 

The second is believe. Believe in yourself based on the thinking

you've done about the values you're going to live your life by.

 

The third is dream. Dream about the things that can be, based on

your belief in yourself and the values you're going to live by.

 

The last is dare. Dare to make your dreams become reality, based on

your belief in yourself and your values. "

 

And with that, Walter E. Disney said to the little boy,

" Think, Believe, Dream, and Dare. "

 

Thoughts On Life

 

" Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Life is a beauty, admire it.

Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.

Life is a game, play it.

Life is a promise, fulfill it.

Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.

Life is a tragedy, confront it.

Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is luck, make it.
