What is the significance of the Nature that we see around us? Swami makes it absolutely clear to us today. Did you take the Medicare Quiz in the Oct issue of H2H? Click here to read it now.. Sai Inspires - 23rd October 2008 The indhriyas (sense organs) may be used for the purpose of increasing spiritual joy (bliss) in this very life. When a fruit juice is poured into a cup, the cup does not know its taste. If you hold it in the palm, you do not get the taste. You have to drink it with the straw, the senses; then buddhi (the intellect) using the tongue can experience the sweetness. The fruit juice is prakrithi (Nature). To drink is to taste the sweetness, which is to experience Divinity that is immanent in it. This is the purpose and the rationale. Prakrithi (Nature) is just a Leela (Creation) of the Lord set before you, so that you may become aware of His Glory, His splendor. - Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 3, Ch 17, 2-8-1963 "Be like the rose flower that speaks silently in the language of fragrance." - Baba With Love and Regards, "Heart2Heart" Team.
