Oh, Lord!

In the darkness of my life,

I reached for your love.

Frightened,

hurt, lost and betrayed

 

My beloved,

I searched everywhere

You were there all along.

Gently calling to my Soul.

Soothing, caressing, and loving.

I found you in my Heart.

Fool was I to seek

you outside

All I had was already inside.
