IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE ATTENTION OF VISITORS PRASHANTHI NILAYAM,PUTTAPARTHI

Visitors coming to Prashanthi Nilayam are hereby informed that in order to obtain accomodation inside the ashram, each person will be required to produce his/her Voter Identity Card( the Identity card issued by the Election Commission of India) or his/her Pan Card in original. Please note that in the case of a family, all adult members of the family are required to comply with the above. All minor members (except those less than ten years of age) must possess some photo identification.

Groups wishing to seek accomodation are requested to contact their State/District President who will guide them regarding the procedures to be adopted. Kindly convey this information to others wishing to visit Prashanthi Nilayam so that they will not be inconvenienced upon arrival at the Ashram.

In addition to the above information all the devotees visiting Prashanthi Nilayam for the first time are requested to follow certain guidelines and rules of Ashram.

While going for darshan the devotees should not carry anything with them including water bottles, pens, moblies, any other electronic equipment, cameras, videos, CDs, match box, any tobacco product. The devotees can keep their belongings in the nearby cloak room including mobiles. A list of articles which are not supposed to be carried into Kulwanth Hall , where Swami gives divine darshan, is displayed near the entrance. Drinking water is available in the hall.

Accomodation in the ashram is very simple without any comforts. The food in the Swami's canteen is also very simple and very cheap and every devotee must take the food of the canteen not only to relieve the hunger but as a divine prasadam of Swami.

A very good and modern shopping complex and book stall are there with goods available at reasonable rates with no profit and no loss principle. Every devotee must purchase the necessary articles of various types in the shopping complex only as the money goes to the Central Trust of Swami.

Any one can donate and contribute money to the Central Trust without any restriction of minimum amount in the Central Trust office where a Bank facility is also there for payment. Each donor is given a Small photo of Swami and vibhuthi packets with official receipt and this money will be utilised for various service activities of Swami as per the wishes of the donor as stipulated in the rules .Let us extend helping hand to the Central Trust to render service to the needy and poor with the blessings of Swami and one should feel fortunate to get a divine opportunity to participate in the service activities with the blessings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This is only a brief information and guidance on my behalf for the benefit of the devotees and visitors.
