Guest guest
Sri Krishna Janmashtami is marked on August 14 in North India and Kerala. In other regions it is marked on August 14. The Smarta Tradition (those that pray any God of their choice) observes the festival on August 13 and the Vaishnava Tradition on August 14. Sri Krishna Janmaahtami is observed in several parts of India on different days and this is due to differences in the regional cal enders and also due to various calculations in the time of birth of Lord Krishna. Whenever the day, the most important thing is Bhakthi with which we celebrate.
