Sai Global 84 Hour Gayatri & Rudram Chanting Initiative

The past couple weekends were sanctified with the Global Akhand Bhajans and

Global Akhand Gayatri. Continuing with the spirit of devotion and loving

service, the devotees of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba would like to invite you

all to join in the special and auspicious " Global Akhand Gayatri and Rudram " for

84 continuous hours in a relay manner covering all the time zones of the world

and ending at God's time, 9:06 AM on November 23rd 2009, in Puttaparthi, the

time when our Beloved Lord was born.

 

The Proposed Plan is as Follows:

 

Each of the 24 time zones of the world has been allocated 3.5 hrs time slot as

indicated in the table below.

 

Start Nov20th Friday

 

End Nov 23rd Monday.

 

Please check the table below for your time zone.

 

Duration: 3.5 hrs per time zone; total 84 hrs

 

We request all the devotees to chant 108 Gayatri's and 11 Rudrams (11 Anuvakams

of Namakam followed by one Anuvakam of Chamakam till the 11 Chamkams are

covered). The prayer booklet can be used for this protocol.
