Vishnu is depicted as always smiling blissfully and remaining ever peaceful. So, too, your mind should possess the serenity, sanctity and bliss of Vishnu. Eswara is symbolic of the heart. Shiva is depicted as the one with the third eye. The third eye does not refer to the physical eye. It is symbolic of wisdom and foresight. Man has only two eyes as he can visualize only past or present. But God knows the future also. That is why he is depicted as having the third eye.
