Jaya Guru Datta,

 

Last year Sri Swamiji mentioned that this year around Guru Poornima, a 1 week

vedanta course could be arranged for the benefit of devotees. HE would HIMSELF

preside over and teach in these sessions. I believe this project was given to

Chicago Raman family.

 

We only heard once in this regard - a generic email asking interested devotees

to respond via email. Guru Poornima is nearing, please inform us of further

developments on this project so we can plan ahead.

Nice to see your email.  Over the last few months, there have been several

changes to the proposed program.  Sri. Swamiji wanted to have a Subramanya Katha

program (in Tamil) instead of the Vedanta class.  This program, as of this date,

is still on hold.  Sri. Swamiji will be participating in the 10 day program at

Dallas, and if I am correct a Vendanta class is part of the 10 day program.  We

still hold the hope and pray that Sri. Swamiji will allow us at Chicago to

conduct a program on His behalf this year.
