4th August 2009 Darshan Update

Om Sairam dearest Sai family,There is yet another group to join and this time it is from Canada. The hall is almost full with all the groups that are blessed by Swami to visit His Abode, Prasanthi Nilayam. Every one who come here are blessed by Swami and it is only His will that brings them here.

4th August 2009.Like yesterday, today as well Swami didn’t come out for darshan in the morning. In the

afternoon, the Rudram chanting started at 4pm and this afternoon the group from Himachal Pradesh were ready with a group song presentation with special kind of uniforms. The bhajans started and Swami blessed us with His divine darshan during the bhajans. Swami took a full round in the hall, smiling at every one, He accepted the letters from the groups and also from other devotees. Swami glanced at the well dressed Himachal Pradesh group members of the Music programme. Just before coming on to the dias, Swami spent some time in the former students block. He spoke to 4 of them and patiently saw a album like thing from a student for close to five minutes.

Swami went towards the dais after blessing the birthday boys. Swami then went behind the dais and and stopped near brother Puppet from the UK. There was an interesting conversation

between them…Swami enquired about the progress of the group. Brother Puppet explained Swami that the group starts the day at 4:30am with Omkar, suprabhat and Jyothi meditation and gave the list of speakers who would be speaking to the group every evening… Swami was very much happy about that. Brother Puppet then asked Swami, Swami are you happy with us? To which Swami replied BAHUTH KUSH HOON (Iam very happy),blessed with excellent presence of mind, brother Puppet, instantly replied, Swami if You are happy, then the whole world is happy to which Swami smiled back to him.

Swami then enquired as when the group is leaving to which brother Puppet replied 12th August. Swami then enquired if he and Mrs. Puppet are staying back to which he replied, we will go back with the group. It was so touching to hear those words when Swami like a mother,enquired if every member of the group is healthy,

happy and comfortable. Swami then said, very happy…. Very happy… and moved on. A rare opportunity was also  bestwoed to the group members by Mr. Chakravarthi, the secretary of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. Because of his busy schedule, very rarely one gets to talk to him Even heads of Sai centers make un successful attempts to meet him  but the UK group were given a chance for a one to one meeting with every member of the group with him in his office.  and the UK youth are very happy about this honour given to them by Sri.Chakravarthi..

The Puppet group is ready with 5 programmes for Swami and the whole group is waiting for the first one to start even though the first musical programme Sai Vandana was scheduled

yesterday 3rd August it was postponed to the next BEST day chosen by Swami.... Back to darshan Swami then accepted few more letters from other devotees and came on to the dais. Swami sat on the dais for 5 bhajans and later made a move towards the interview room. On the area where the doctors usually sit, Swami called a devotee from the UK who owns the VB group for an interview. Swami blessed the whole family with a 20 minute interview and Swami then came on to the dais and immediately asked for arathi and it was almost 6:30pm by then and Swami left the Sai Kulwanth ending yet another beautiful day, the people who were left guessing were the Himachal Pradesh group who were ready with a presentation. After all life is all about Patience and that is what pays at the end..
