Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM My humble pranams at the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan. Dear Saibandhus, Loving Sai Ram. Sadhakas while doing spiritual practice and also non-sadhakas face some very important questions such as Who is GOD? and Where is God? Who is God? Whomsoever says " I " are God. There is no human being in this world who doesn't use the very common alphabet " I " Where is God? From Wherever the alphabet " I " is vocally generated there is God.( Though the scriptures say that God is everywhere and everyone is God, let us now use only this " I " as the basis for realising God.). This " I " is generated by all the human beings in this world. It is obvious that every human says I,I,I,.......continuously and endlessly all the time. And when awake or asleep man breaths/says HAM while breathing SOHAM, and this HAM is the " I " . Let us reverentially recall what Swami says always i.e, " I AM GOD " . Let us please understand that Swami while saying " HE IS GOD " , Swami may not be identifying or referring to His body, but Swami is referring to the factor " I " in Him as God, though, we perceive and love Swami's body too as God. Swami, while referring to us, says that " YOU are also God " and here Swami is referring to the " I " which all of us pronounce frequently and not the body and its components. In fact this " I " is more important than the word " GOD " . Since we have polluted the sacred alphabet " I " by using it liberally and frequently for anything and everything identifying it with our Ego-Centered, not the Self-Centered or Spirit- Centered. Hence, the real value of " I " is completely lost. Instead of the " I " the word " God " has gained highest importance which has given raise to conflict and competition and has given birth to many .....ISMS. This has created division between Religions, created hate among Religions and hence the whole world is in turmoil. Therefore, for sometime let us not think about the word " GOD " , but think, concentrate and Meditate on " I " , then the sadhaka would be benefited fast and reach the Goal very fast, because with this " I " an aspirant can reach the destination in lightening speed than by using the word " GOD " in the spiritual practice. When we say God, we create a mental picture of God which creates a distance between us and the form of our God. However, when we use the " I " for the word God, there is no distance at all, because this " I " comes out from our innermost recesses. To realise " I " (God) there should not be any distance between the sadhaka and " I " . The problem with us is that our " I " is Ego-Centered, not Consciousness-Centered. Great Sadhakas or Realised Souls have their " I " in the Consciousness-Centered. In our sadhana,if only we replace the word " God " by " I " , which SWAMI also emphasises we can reach our goal very fast. Hence, this " I " is an important " Manthra " in our Sadhana. Swami is educating His fortunate students in this Adwaita Philosophy by teaching the powerful Manthra " I AM I " which is more meaningful than the Manthra " I AM GOD " . The " I AM I " is pure Adwaita whereas in the " I AM GOD " , we are likely to picturize a form of Personal God. Let us meditate on the Manthra " I AM I " which our loving Swami has taught His most fortunate students and pray our Sadguru Swami that we may REALIZE IT. Loving pranams at the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan. -Ranganatha. Rao.
