More than 500 people attended the glittering "Akhand Jyot Function" held on the green lawns of Anand Kutir and Sathya Deep at Dharmakshetra on Sunday 11-01-2009. Bhagawan Baba had blessed the Jyot during the recent Youth Yatra held in the first week of the New Year of 2009 in Prasanthi Nilayam.Initially from a single flame which was lit from Mumbai (Dharmakshetra) on 18th October, 2008 , the jyot was sent to 27 districts in Maharastra. These 27 jyots were then inturn carried to Puttaparthi and converted to one flame from which Bhagawan also lit the flame. The jyot blessed by Bhagawan once again were sent back to all the 27 districts in Maharashtra. The original flame blessed by Bhagawan lights the sanctum sanctorium at Shanti Deep, Dharmakshetra, Mumbai.
