attainment of the Absolute does not depend solely on mastery of

Brahmavidya (spiritual knowledge). It is beyond the reach of mere

study, scholarship or intellectual quest. It is only by Upasana

(spiritual practice or worship) that it can be realized. If a scholar

with all the weight of learning also gets immersed in Upasana, his life

is indeed sanctified.
