Guest guest
AUM SAI RAM " Dust if you think, dust you are God if you think, God you are As you think, so you are Think GOD and be GOD " - BABA The people we meet in our life are definitely, I gather, not mere casual travelers, but God-sent messengers to take us up the spiritual ladder. Hence, this true story is for sharing:- Vijji told me that, a few years ago, he went to India with a ministerial delegation from Mauritius. During their stay in the holy land of India, it was decided that they would go to Puttaparthi for the darshan of Sai Baba. They set out for Parthi and he followed the delegates without comment. When they reached Prasanti Nilayam, the Centre of the Universe, they were told that Baba would graciously grant them an interview. The twenty or so members of the delegation hurriedly swarmed into the interview room. Vijji stayed back. True it is, his late mother-in-law, Lady Sushil, the spouse of our first Prime Minister and Founder of the Nation, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, was a staunch devotee of Baba. He had also often lent a distracted ear to the stories about Sai Baba told by saibhaktas but he saw no point in going to the interview room. While he was waiting under the verandah, someone rushed out of the interview room, calling: 'Vijji! Vijji! Come! Come quick!' He consented and went into the interview room. The sweet Lord came up to him and filled his pockets with packets of the fragrant and sacred vibhutti. After the interview with Baba, he was told that when the others entered the interview room in the first place, Baba looked at them quizzically and said: 'Somebody is missing!' That somebody was him! Vijji was then and there up-lifted. Although a transformed person, he did not find it necessary to join a Sai centre. But since then he has been doing incessant Sai seva. He distributed all the packets of vibhutti which Baba gave him to the sick and the diseased. Nowadays, he distributes calendars and pictures of Baba to those who are in need of healing and of comfort. In the same line, he serves the poor, the distressed and the needy to the best of his abilities. While he was talking, he removed a pack of pocket calendar pictures of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and Sri Sathya Sai Chandra from his breast pocket. He displayed it like a game of playing cards before my bewildered eyes. Before he left , he pointed out: 'We belong to the same club!' 'Club?' I questioned. 'CSK!' He answered. I recalled in a flash that Vijji too had received the insignia of 'Commander of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean' (equivalent of the British CBE- Commander of the British Empire) from the President of the Republic of Mauritius. He was elevated for his achievement in the world of diplomacy. Nevertheless, I could not help probing my heart for the real meaning of CSK. Why does the sweet Lord 'elevates' this person or the other to the rank of CSK? It did not take me long to realise that the inner meaning of CSK is 'Communion in Spiritual Knowledge.'
