There are only 9 days left to finish Magha Masam and It is most sacred and very Auspicious that we take Magha Snanam before Sunrise in the morning while chanting 'Aum Namah Sivaya, the sacred Panchakshari Maha Mantra and recite the Dwadasa JyotirLinga stotram in the morning and evening at 6.00.

This year Maha Sivaratri is extra special as it falls on Monday which is so dear to Lord Shiva.

For thousands of years, people have observed the Maha Sivaratri festival by following various forms of spiritual practice with devotion and sincerity. These practices include meditation, maintaining silence, chanting Siva mantras, singing Siva stotras and devotional bhajans, or performing worship such as pujas and homas. Celebrations of Maha Sivaratri begin at the break of dawn and continue all through the night. Spiritual seekers observe fasting and spend the day and night in worship of Lord Siva.

It is believed that sincere participation in Maha Sivaratri pujas and homas, combined with fasting and the all the night worship of Lord Siva, will absolve the devotee of sins and liberate them from the cycle of birth and death. It has been said that those who worship Lord Siva, specifically on Maha Sivaratri, will definitely receive his grace in the form of true wealth, wisdom, peace, inner healing, spiritual virtues, and divine courage.

Let us sing the Glory of our Lord Sai Shiva during the sacred day of Maha Shivarathri.

Om Sai Ram
